Litter Containment for Two Waste Management Facilities

Windblown litter can travel well beyond a landfill’s working area. At Waste Management’s Skyline and East Oak facilities, NETServices installed large-scale litter fence systems to help contain debris on site.

The two projects were carried out during the same period, with Skyline in Ferris, Texas, and East Oak in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Each system brought together steel support poles, concrete foundations, cables, attachment hardware and netting along the site’s changing terrain.

The project photographs follow the work from pole setting and foundation construction through cable installation, netting attachment and the completed barriers. Close-up views show the fieldwork behind the finished systems, while wide views show the scale of the installations.
